First off for the Mo Tools Spot Light Review for Frog or Bullfrog Gigging and Hunting, we wanted to get the spot Light detailed description pasted here below for you to scan or read over in detail.  Some of the specifications will be important and some of the other ones will not be.  There are really just some BASIC requirements to a spot light to make it an excellent spot light as far as frog gigging or hunting is concerned.  One being a focused super bright light and a long battery life for a long night out frog or bullfrog hunting.  Yes a lot of bells and whistles are great and add to the value added of the overall spot light, but for this review we are using it for frog spotting, hunting and gigging in a nut shell.  The review continues below under the Mo Tools Spot Light Specs and description.

Shipping of the Spot Light was fastand shipped by Amazon themselves.  Ordered on 21 May and received it 26 May.  You may say....well that is not fast, well inbetween that time was also a Sat, Sun and a Federal Holiday on Mon....so we will consider that fast.  Price was $39.98 plus a we bit of shipping.  We choose this Mo Tools spot light model because it was the cheaper one listed as far as price goes.  If you look at some of the photos of some of the other spot lights, they "all look the same" other than color for the most part as far as this one looks like.  Meaning that this spot light is sold in different colors and names by multiple companies but Mo Tools was on the cheaper side at $39 and the other sellers selling at $40+.  Packaging was good and inside the box included.

One of the main and most important functions of a spot light for frog gigging and hunting is the brightness of the spot light and this Mo Tools spot light definitely passes that test.  As far as the light being a concentrated beam and not overly fanned out, this is great.  It is rated at 2600ft and that is great but we are not gigging frogs at 2600 feet out.  2600 feet is great to scan things but we are viewing at viewable distances and then freezing and stunning spotting individual frogs at 0 to 15 feet out with our frog gigging pole or net.  This spot light passes that test wonderfully.  If you want to see a bullfrog or any other frog freeze in place, you should give this MO Tools Spot light a try.  The only test that time will tell on is the over all battery life for holding a charge to fast charging to taking on a full charge.  We will update this review in good time.
